Burnley FC’s final home game against West Ham United is the platform to raise awareness and funds for a cause close to all our hearts – The Barry Kilby Prostate Cancer Appeal. Barry set up the appeal in 2016 and the Appeal has already supported in the over 1400 prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood tests at Burnley FC and Preston North End FC.

Around 140 men’s lives have been positively affected by the Appeal to date. Of the 1,400 men tested, nearly 10% received test results indicating that their PSA levels were outside of the ‘normal’ range and were advised to see their doctors to discuss.

Sponsor a rider in the Burnley FC Charity Bike Ride

This morning, Wednesday 10th May, a group of 24 cyclists set off from Turf Moor to cycle nearly 300 miles in just three days to the final away game of the season in Bournemouth.

Donate or Join in with the ‘Know Your Score Walk’

East Lancs Prostate Cancer Support Group will be at Turf Moor helping to collect for the BKPCA. Please donate to their bucket collections. BKPCA charity tins will also be on many of the bars and concourses throughout Turf Moor (including the club reception and Clarets store on Harry Potts Way.

The Appeal’s fundraising raffles are a new a fun way to join Barry’s fight against prostate cancer and will guarantee you a chance of winning some fantastic prizes including signed club memorabilia, money can’t buy experiences and more. More raffles will go live on 1st June 2017.
